ATLANTA, Ga. – Thieves crash cars into a store in what appears to be a smash-and-grab burglary early Monday morning, according to reports from northwest Atlanta. The incident occurred at Full Circle ATL, a vintage streetwear store located at 1085 Howell Mill Road.
According to the store’s owner, the burglary took place around 5:40 a.m. when a work truck and a small car were driven directly into the storefront. “They drove right through our front door and cleared us out pretty good,” the owner said.
The thieves, estimated to be between 7 to 10 individuals, jumped out of the vehicles and proceeded to steal over $100,000 worth of merchandise. “This is real criminal activity, and we’re not the only store in Atlanta that has fallen victim to these types of crimes,” the owner added.
Police have not yet confirmed the owner’s account of the events and are currently investigating the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the burglary to come forward.
Individuals can contact the Atlanta Police Department at 404-658-6666. For those wishing to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any tips leading to an arrest or indictment. Tipsters can reach Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.stopcrimeATL.com.
